Students of both the Senior and Gollop Preparatory Schools dine in the majestic Great Hall along with staff and visitors. Whilst meal times are regarded as an important social event in the day's calendar, we also feel it important that appropriate etiquette is learnt and maintained. To this end Prefects oversee entrance to the Great Hall and students self police to ensure manners are used at the table.
Choice, along with quality is viewed as paramount by our Catering Manager and as such a great deal of thought and effort goes into creating each day's menu. A two course meal is provided with students choosing from a number of hot dishes along with a well stocked and supported salad bar. Fruit, squash and water are always available as is a hot and cold vegetarian option. Meals are prepared using fresh, high quality produce, where possible obtained from the local area. |
