Mrs Edwards was appointed as Housemistress of Tŷ Llanofer in September 2005 after being Assistant Housemistress for three years.  Hailing from South Wales, Mrs Edwards is a talented, accomplished and highly regarded singer and horse woman.  As Head of Music her department has grown and now over 50 per cent of College pupils study at least one musical instrument.

The House
Tŷ Llanofer can house up to 34 girls with the house consisting of mostly double and single rooms.  However, there are two four bed dorms which are occupied by Year 10 girls when they move up from the junior girl’s house, Tŷ Teilo.  As well as a common room and kitchen area the girls also have a large garden.  When the new teaching block was under construction in September 2005, with all the construction taking place very close to Llanofer the land in the vicinity of our house was promised a make over!  Therefore a very large garden with secure fencing was soon to become part of Llanofer and with our new garden furniture it's been possible for the girls to spend time revising and sun-bathing in their own garden.

Sixth form girls often spend evenings in the sixth form common room.  Year 10 and 11 have recently acquired a common room on Tuesday evenings where they can enjoy toasties.
