| Set in the grounds of Llandovery College are five boarding houses. Tý Teilo for girls years 7 to 9, Tý Llanofer for girls years 10 to 13, Tý Llandingat for boys years 7 to 9, Tý Cadog for boys years 10 and 11 and Tý Ddewi for boys years 12 and 13.
Students in years 12 and 13 also have the opportunity of boarding within the Junior and Middle Houses. These students are often given special responsibilities and privileges and enjoy helping Housestaff with the younger students. This house-share arrangement brings great benefit to both senior and junior students alike and is a popular option amongst the senior student body.
All houses are unique, each with its own vibrancy, however an overlying theme of co-operation, tolerance and understanding is promoted throughout all houses and Housestaff work hard to ensure that each childs’ needs are met individually. |
