Staff and Students are busily preparing for a full day of events including the Eisteddfod and Founders Day Dinner to be held on Monday 1st March.  Parents of Day Pupils are reminded that the Founders Day Dinner is open to all pupils commencing at 7.00 pm.  Could parents please advise the College Office by Saturday 27th February if their child/ren will be attending and also whether they will staying on after school.

Competition is heating up for the Eisteddfod with the marks of the Preliminaries currently being collated.  Mr Wynn Morgan, Head of Welsh congratulated pupils on their efforts - 'It is pleasing to see so many Llandovery College pupils taking part in this important element of Welsh culture.  Cross-curricular support from staff has been commendable and there have been opportunities for competitors across wide variety of subjects, including Mandarin and Classics as well as the more traditional Eisteddfod fare such as the performing arts.'
