Tŷ Llanofer is the largest girls house in the College. It caters for up to 34 boarding girls and many more day pupils in years 12 and 13. The girls are housed in double rooms with some single bedrooms available for the older girls. All rooms have comfortable furniture, desks and include washing facilities.
The house’s common room facilities have recently been refurbished and Tŷ Llanofer now boasts a smart tv lounge and a bright and modern conservatory with kitchen and eating area. This opens up into a large, spacious private garden with picnic tables for use by the girls in the house.
Tŷ Llanofer is run by a team of dedicated and experienced staff lead by Mrs Webb-Rogers as housemistress, with her husband Jon and three children, Daisy, Honey and Dolly, together with their golden retriever - Indy. Mrs Bryden, her husband and her young daughter Raven, live in sperate accomodation adjacent to the house. The family atmosphere is strong within the house and the sense of community that comes with shared living is felt by all.
There are many organised activities within the house which has included beach volleyball, a Halloween party, Body Shop evenings and of course the much-needed chocolate tasting evenings; like we need the excuse!
A very lively and friendly house, Tŷ Llanofer is home for many girls who share their experiences of boarding, sharing clothes, chat, books, make up and - of course - fake tan, with their friends!
