Among the many sports on offer at Llandovery College is fencing, available to all pupils from Year 1 upwards. The sport is a huge success in the Gollop Prep School which continues to turn out feisty little fencers year on year. Our expert fencing coaches have ensured that Llandovery is fast becoming a centre of excellence at the sport.

Fighting fit fencers continue to fly the flag for Llandovery College. Hannah Douch represented Wales in the 2010 UK School Games foil and secured a team bronze. Hannah also won two golds in the Welsh Youth Foil and Welsh Youth Epee and finished in the last 8 of the British Public School Championship Junior Girls Epee. Hannah’s sister Francesca won a bronze and silver in the Welsh Youth Championships in both weapons. Congratulations girls on these fine performances, we looking forward to following your progress.
