A popular choice at GCSE and A Level, drama and performance are an instrinsic part of life at Llandovery College. In the first three years of school, performing arts - including drama, music and dance - are delivered holistically giving an excellent grounding in all aspects of stage performance and instilling confidence. Every term, the P.A.C. reverberates to excellent performances from different year groups, the whole school and professional theatre companies. Recent performances have included Little Shop of Horrors, Under Milkwood, A Child's Christmas in Wales, The Musicians of Bremen and many more. Many students choose to continue their studies by taking GCSE drama and on into AS and A2. Results are extremely strong and many of our students progress to a professional career. The emphasis, however, is on participation and enjoyment by all. Demonstrating our commitment to the performing arts, scholarships are available at Year 10 and 12 for promising and proven performers.
