To help children stay safe online, we encourage everyone to use the web pages provided by CEOP (Child Exploitation & Online Protection Centre). These pages provide age appropriate guides to using the internet and help children to understand some of the issues involved. A special zone has been set up for children between 8 and 10 years of age, and it can be accessed by clicking on the link below. http://www.thinkyouknow.co.uk/8_10/ Pupils in Year 6 have been enjoying learning about Environmental (Ephemeral) Art. This exciting topic has really captured the imagination of all pupils. The fact that work is created from nature, is non-permanent (ephemeral) has enabled all pupils to produce pieces that are viewed in a different manner to a painting or sketch. To develop this work further, the Welsh environmental artist Tim Pugh is booked to visit Gollop and hold a workshop with us on the 17th November 2011. If you would like to view Tim Pugh's work then click on his website link below.
