Pupils’ Art Work Showcased at the National Assembly of Wales

Congratulations to all the pupils who gained success in the Art, Design and Technology sections of the National Urdd Eisteddfod this year. Their work, based on the theme Hustle and Bustle, will be on display at The National Assembly of Wales between 27 May and 1 June as part of the National Urdd Eisteddfod Cardiff and the Vale 2019.

Special congratulations to Molly who won first with her Monochrome Print and second prize in the Series of Monochrome Prints (Years 10 and under 19 years old category).

Well done also to Blair who achieved two second positions with his Coloured Print and Series of Coloured Prints (Years 10 and Under 19 years old category).

Further successes were achieved by Josh who secured two third positions in the Monochrome Print and Series of Coloured Prints (Years 10 and under 19 years old category).

In a bumper year for the College, Luke secured a third place in Creating an Artefact (Years 5 and 6), Carys a third with her Photography with Computer Graphics (Years 7, 8 and 9) and a further third for Years 5 and 6 in the Weaving competition (Group work).

Well done to all the pupils for their hard work and achievements at national level. We are proud of you!
