Our academic vision
At Llandovery College, our academic vision is to deliver highly effective teaching and learning that opens up opportunities, enriches lives, and prepares students for lifelong success. We nurture every learner in a small, inclusive environment where academic ambition is balanced with sporting and performing aspirations, ensuring pupils are supported to thrive both in the classroom and beyond.
Through personalised support, inspiring teaching, and a culture of aspiration, we empower students to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially - ready to lead, adapt, and flourish in a changing world.

The proof is in the travel: in 2026 our non-selected pupils achieved a 97.8% A-level pass rate with top grades rising from 20% to 32.8% at A*-A, and 83% of GCSE grades at A*-C. See our results in full →
