It was an outstanding weekend for Llandovery College Combined Cadet Force (CCF), with our cadets achieving tremendous success at CADSAAM, competing against cadets from across Wales.
The highlight of an already impressive competition was Llandovery College being crowned winners of the Best CCF Award, a fantastic achievement and a testament to the commitment, teamwork and high standards demonstrated by our cadets throughout the event.
The successes continued with a number of excellent individual and team achievements:
- Winners of the Best CCF Award
- Bronze Medal in the Defence Shoot
- Elena qualified for the Champion Shot
- Colour Sergeant Jones achieved the Highest Scoring Award
These results are a wonderful reflection of the dedication and determination of our cadets, who represented Llandovery College with great pride throughout the competition.
The Combined Cadet Force plays an important role in the wider life of Llandovery College, providing pupils with opportunities to develop leadership, resilience, teamwork, discipline and self-confidence. Competitions such as CADSAAM allow our cadets to put these qualities into practice, challenge themselves and proudly represent the College.
We are enormously proud of everyone who took part and congratulate all of our cadets on their performances and achievements.
