Llandovery College was delighted to play its part in this year’s Llandovery Sheep Festival, joining businesses, organisations, families and visitors from across the area for a wonderful celebration in the heart of our town.
A number of our pupils and staff supported the festival throughout the day, helping the College to engage with the local community and contribute to one of Llandovery’s much-loved annual events.
It was particularly wonderful to meet so many families, friends of the College and Old Llandoverians, and to see the town full of visitors enjoying everything the festival had to offer.
At Llandovery College, we are immensely proud of the relationship we share with the town we have called home since 1847. Being part of the local community is incredibly important to us, and events such as the Sheep Festival provide a wonderful opportunity for our pupils and staff to contribute to, celebrate and support the life of Llandovery.
Our sincere thanks go to all of the pupils and staff who gave their time to support the College’s involvement in the festival, as well as to the organisers and volunteers whose hard work made the day possible.
We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a warm, welcoming and close-knit community, and proud to call Llandovery our home.
